Dr. Li has been the lead dentist at the Kentlands Family Dentistry since August 2016. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, at the top of the 2009 class. After graduation, Dr. Li practiced general dentistry in Philadelphia and San Diego. In 2015, she moved to Maryland and has since practiced dentistry in the Rokville and North Potomac area.
Dr. Li is renowned for her experience, passion and skill in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She strongly believes in providing the highest standards of dental care to her patients, as they should expect. Dr. Li has stayed current with the most recent advances in Dental Medicine, spending well over 200 hours each year attending continuing education courses and clinics. She is the Certified Invisalign Provider, and the recipient of the 2017 Outstanding Achievement Certificate from DIO Dental Implant Academy. She is trained with the McGann postgraduate school of dentistry to provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment to her patients.
Dr. Li is passionate and loyal to each and every patient she meets. She has always found her greatest satisfaction in helping her patients achieve healthy, beautiful, and long last smiles.
A native of Beijing, China, Dr. Li studied Dentistry at the Capital University of Medical Sciences in Beijing and practiced general and cosmetic dentistry in China before coming to the US.
Dr. Cornejo graduated at the top of her class from the University Of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine, receiving a D.M.D. degree in 1996. While completing the degree requirements, she was awarded the 'International Dentist Award,' given to the highest performing student in the advanced standing program. She started Kentlands Family Dentistry in 1996 serving the dental needs of the North Potomac, Rockville and Gaithersburg areas, and grew her practice exclusively through referrals. Today, she serves families not only from Montgomery County, but also from neighboring counties and from Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Dr. Cornejo was awarded the distinction of 'Fellow' in general dentistry in 2010, an honor given to dentists by the Academy of General Dentistry, after she successfully passed a fellowship board exam and obtained the requisite continuing education credits. Currently, Dr. Cornejo is working towards a mastership degree in General Dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Southern Maryland Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Cornejo has two children and lives in Rockville, MD. She speaks English, Spanish and Tagalog.
Marie received her Bachelor's degree from Towson University in 2004 and her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2006. She joined the practice in March 2016. She speaks English and Tagalog. Marie enjoys spending time with her 2 children and volunteering her time coaching youth volleyball.
Monica received her Maryland State dental x-ray certification in 2004. She has been a dental assistant for over ten years and has worked at Kentlands Family Dentistry since 2006. Monica is very well experienced in all areas of chair side assisting. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
Patty joined the practice in June 2016. She received her RDH certification from Allegheny Community College in 1994. Prior to receiving her hygiene certification she was a certified dental assistant. Patty speaks fluent English and Spanish. Her hobbies include traveling and spending time with her family.
Erica travels from Cumberland to provide excellent care for our patients. She received her RDH certification from Allegheny Community College in 2003. She's a huge Baltimore Ravens fan. She enjoys spending time with her 3 children and traveling.
